The best place to produce the best pilots. The large school area is well laid out, very capable training aircraft, sophisticated flight simulation equipment, luxurious dormitories. The location is next to Banyuwangi international airport. The students practiced in the skies around Banyuwangi, and used the same runway used by commercial planes.
The Indonesian Pilot Academy (API) Banyuwangi is one of the civil aviation (pilot) schools under the Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia which functions to produce competent civil pilots in the domestic aviation industry.
The Banyuwangi Pilot Academy, abbreviated as API Banyuwangi or better known as the Banyuwangi Pilot School, is one of the official universities under the Indonesian Ministry of Transportation. API Banyuwangi is located in Rogojampi District, Banyuwangi, East Java Province.
To the east of Banyuwangi airport, the Indonesian Pilot Academy was built, an educational institution for airplane pilots who are usually called pilots. It is located next to Blimbingsari airport so prospective pilots practice flying airplanes using runways that are also used by commercial airplanes. This educational institution complements the presence of Blimbingsari Banyuwangi airport.
